Just like a pair of lungs

There are fallen horse chestnut shells littering the ground under the conker trees. The squirrels eat the nuts and then drop the prickly shells onto the ground and if you are unlucky the shell might land on your head.

Real autumnal weather this morning ..... bright and sunny with a significant chill in the air. Time now, I think, to look out my slightly warmer jacket.
