Dragon Boats in the Water!

It was such a beautiful day here, sunny and warm....wore sandals with NO socks! Spent the afternoon shopping in Sydney! I'm giving my showroom and do-over! New back drops for the shelving units! I found the most beautiful curtains that were greatly reduced....this will save me a huge amount of time....instead of just buying fabric and then making the curtains! This week i'll get the showroom (and studio) cleaned up and ready for the upcoming season.....it's exciting, but i always hate the clean up bit!

The MammoWarriors met for their first practice of the year! I had a lot of fun, but man, it was hard work for sure! A very different stroke is needed in a dragon boat....i've done a lot of canoeing and rowing in one of those long row boats and skiffs....but nothing like this! And we kept our rhythm in time with the woman at the big drum! this is one of the other teams as they came into dock...we'd already finished!

Got home late - a bit wet and very tired, but well satisfied!
