Still dancing

The dancing ladies in the garden are still giein it laldy in the Autumn sunshine. There's no doubt it is Autumn now, what with the earlier nights and the sharpness in the air. Long may the sunshine last though.
I think, as of noon today, I can say that I am definitely going to survive. I haven't actually got up yet or considered getting dressed but I've started to augment the BRAT (bananas, rice, apples, toast) diet I've been on.... with something rather more adventurous. I risked a boiled egg for dinner!
I popped into the garden this afternoon in the sunshine to catch the fuchsias as a blip and grab a couple of windfalls to stew. We've no idea what variety our apples are, but they are both sweet enough to eat and also cook well, so stew them I did. I'll know I'm really feeling better though when tea tastes pleasant or I fancy a cup of coffee.
