Friday

We took delivery of a large parcel this morning.   Chairs for our sun patio.  Unfortunately they came flat packed, not "fully assembled" as advertised.   We tried our best but the holes didn't want to line up, and the screw holes with no threads, and a pretty useless allen key, oh and did I mention the instructions with no explanation,  just pictures suitable for any country in the world.  I gave up at tea time, and that was still on the first of the two chairs.

Luckily we had a valid excuse to leave the construction for a while as we had an appointment for our fourth COVID jab.  It all went very smoothly, the queue was nothing like as long as that one in London, we were in, jab, out in six or seven minutes.

After the immunisations we went over to Greyfriars for a coffee and to meet Emma and Rafferty. Raffy had brought his football with him and was keen to get out onto the grass with his grandma for a kck around.  This was after he'd chased the duck family who reside in the gardens.  They thought it was a game!
