Needles

Our objective for today was Hengistbury Head via the Ferry at Mudeford Quay.
We cycled to Mudeford via quite a lot of quiet roads but the main roads were so busy and frankly scary.
Drivers taking ridiculous risks to get past us and then coming face to face with oncoming traffic which had to stop, happened a couple of times.
We didn't know this area at all and it was really beautiful on a sunny day. We cycled around Hengistbury Head to the visitor centre and cafe but unfortunately, inexplicably they did not serve a crab sandwich! oh well...
After that we walked up to the top of the Head with its fantastic views of the Isle of Wight and the Needles , main photo, and walked back along the beach with more great views. Extra
