Wotton Blues Festival 2022 Day 1

First the good news: Janet is back home and feeling much better. Almost, I could say it's a different person I brought home today to the one I took in on Tuesday. All hail the little bit of plastic!

It's the annual blues festival up the road, this weekend, and Sloe Train started it all off at The Star this evening. The traditional cramped bar of the pub smoking shelter arena, and it was rammed, so I didn't get much of a chance at a decent shot. A diary shot, really. But a good solid blues band.

Although covid numbers are really low at the moment - about fifty per hundred thousand around here - I haven't shaken off the aversion to crowds. Hell, some would say I was always anti-social... I didn't stay for the whole gig; after all, I have a young lady waiting for me at home.
