Splish! Splash!

Exciting start to the day? Maybe? I was invited to coffee at Sharrow Bay to discuss promoting my business to their guests. On the shore of Ullswater, it's one of the country's most prestigious hotels where the rich and famous stay and the rest of us, occasionally, have afternoon tea.

Great! I thought. Sunshine, mountains, water, yachts..... what I forget was rain and cloud! Took a few shots of the lakeside and gardens before I announced myself. Eventually I was told that the people I was due to meet were delayed on the M6.

Oh dear, no sunny lake scene, no paparazzi-type blip of a celebrity (I wouldn't do that........I don't think!) and NO CUP OF COFFEE!
