Late and nibbled

I found a late sunflower plant up at the allotment last week (sown by the birds no doubt) and put it in a pot to bring home as it wouldn't have survived outdoors.  It seems to be thriving, with a flower bud formed already, but also seems to have been nibbled by someone.
