Fair Isle knitting

This is the downside of Fair Isle knitting, all the ends to deal with when you are finished! And, the more colours you use, the more ends you have to tidy up. 

Luckily, Shetland wool is 'sticky', it sticks to itself and doesn't need too much weaving in. I always wash my hats when they are finished too, so that prevents any possible unraveling. 

It takes a while, but it is worthwhile and very satisfying!
