Relaxed morning with coffee and croissant.  Finished reading American Spy by Lauren Wilkinson, A Barack Obama Summer Reading Pick.  I guess for 2019.  OH gave up on it but i completed it.  It's not the best or the worst I've read.  

In the afternoon made 2 lots of scones: sultana and cheese. And prepared an oven dinner. 

My magnifying filters I'd sent off for arrived.  They have a dinky mock leather case.  Didn't get the tripod out and it was a bit breezy today but managed a blip of the hawthorn berries. 

Now to choose next book.  The Man Who Saw Everything by Deborah Levy may be next.
