Mont Louis
had a drive out into the mountains today and ended up at Mont Louis in time for lunch at a lovely little restaurant where we tried pigs cheek for the first time. It was surprisingly tender. Apparently its the highest walled town in France , a fortified 'Vauban' construction. We had been trying to photograph the 'train jaune' going over a viaduct in the morning but it was cancelled in view of a French train strike. On our way home we called in at Prades for ice cream, where the extra was taken.
