Lough Conn

Looking across to Nephin.

Today we went north towards Ballina to pick up a computer desk advertised on Facebook marketplace.  Cheap and cheerful, to keep us going whilst in our rental.

After we'd picked it up, we opted for a scenic drive back, some of it alongside Lough Conn.  Lovely sunny weather again.

We stopped in Castlebar for lunch - adequate, but not wonderful.

This evening as we were eating our light supper, we were interrupted by a cat meowing on the stairs.  It had come in through the bedroom window, which is open to allow a charging cable out to the car.  It rapidly exited by the same route.

Another much shorter trip out tomorrow morning to collect a sturdy table for my sewing machine, and then I think we will be mostly sorted - though we keep discovering deficiencies - this evening we realised we didn't have anything to make a salad in - we ended up using a pan.  We also have no cheese grater or veg peeler.
