FIRST SALAD

The best salad greens are grown during the Winter months in the Karoo. I broadcast the seed at Easter and am now thinning out the plants for the salad bowl. I love adding nasturtium and rocket leaves. I believe that 'Spekboom", an indigenous succulent is also a very good addition. Must remember to add some.
The bad news is that today I learned that my camera is faulty and that it would be better to replace it. I can still take pictures in the shade and close up but it lets in too much light, bleaching out the colour. Will go to George soon to look for a replacement.
