Early morning visitor

A nice buck deer going up the hill above our camp this morning. We did a long walk along the John Day River, looking for the Bighorn Sheep (saw none), but encountered many small and big wonders. At the end of the canyon two coyote groups were communicating with each other...fascinating!
Now we are in The Dalles, holed up in a motel for tonight.
