Dog on wheels.

Today I got to see the outside world again. I went for a haircut, which is a strange thing for me to do so close to exams. Over the past few years my hair has followed a natural cycle, getting its longest by mid May because at this time of year the last thing on my mind is a haircut. This year, however, I decided that the hobo-look might not go down well in the clinical exam.

The real reason I went out though was to get back on my back. It was only a 30 minute cycle, but it was amazing to get some exercise. The thing about medicine is that you learn why you should not be sedentary whilst being sedentary. It took me almost all of the 30 minutes to adjust to the light.
