With the sun coming up outlining the edge of the caldera .. 

Farmers market first thing; game and vegetables and little local apples. 

Walk later by both the Water of Leith and the Union Canal, had intended to go to Saughton Park, but the x27 bus couldn't make the relevant stop due to roadworks at Balgreen, so we picked up the path from the A71 and went past the allotments and the graveyard. Cool wind, mostly overcast.

Stopped on the way back at the closest Margiotta for provisions; expecting everything to be closed on Monday, and I'm travelling first thing on Tuesday ..
