Cork

A fabulous big lie in and late breakfast followed by a further impromptu graveyard visit with Leslie and Joyce to see a grave of 1730’s Scott’s. Sadly the stone didn’t allow for too much reading but was nice to see it and L and J again. Then hot footed to back to Cork to a v nice hotel where I used as many facilities that I could organise myself into including the pool, sauna and hot tub. Some nice drinks on this beautiful balcony and dinner. The hotel may well be a ten minute walk into town but it’s basically at the top of a cliff making it not an attractive place to leave and walk back too. Happily, their restaurant was dead lovely and we had a v nice evening. Home tomorrow!
