A Quirky Building…,,

……. For a birthday lunch. In my view, one of the most quirky buildings in Marlborough is Allan Scott’s Bistro -Restaurant out in the country. My lovely friend Dawn and I went there for lunch today. My birthday gift from Dawn. We recalled having lunch at a cafe on my birthday thirty years ago…. And there we were today, all these years later. I have been very touched and humbled by the lovely birthday greetings I have been given from so many friends today… my 80th birthday. Thank you all so much and forgive me if I do not acknowledge each of you personally at this time. I have often said “Good friends are like stars in the skies. Sometimes we can’t see them but we know they are always there.” Arohanui…… xx
