Pompeii and Herculaneum Exhibition

Went out for breakfast of eggs Benedict and coffee then caught the bus to Shaftesbury Avenue; riding on the top of a bus is a nice way to see London when you're not in a hurry. Short walk to the British Museum to see the Pompeii and Herculaneum exhibition which was fascinating. There were amazing frescoes, artifacts, statues and skeletons excavated after after 2000 years since the eruption of Vesuvious in AD 79.
There's also an art of Ice Age exhibition at the museum but didn't have the time nor I energy to do both. It's been beautiful weather today with lots of people sitting outside cafes and bars enjoying the sun.
