Emptied, and removed, a compost bin then started another compost bin.  The Current Mrs Creel lifted the beetroot, and I found a few tatties.  There was enough petrol left for a quick skim of the grass in front of HQ.  Repaired the boundary dyke.
The under-gardener showed absolutely no interest in discussing Clyde Tombaugh and his discovery of Pluto.  All the under-gardener would discuss was why Pluto’s first name was ‘Rover’.  It’s all a bit goofy to me.
 
Utilising garden ingredients CMC is making what she terms ‘the last flan of the season’ – with fried snibblers!!
 
Word has filtered through to HQ of possible Harvest Homes in Orphir and Rendall.  Could this see the return of clootie dumplings ? 
 
If I’m ever to meet Noggin the Nog I think it will be in Rousay.
