Lime tree

I have previously told you about one of the town's avenues being renovated. In December, it is estimated to be ready, if everything goes as it should. They have taken some of the old lime tree trunks and made a sculpture of them. Carved figures of all the birds and insects that live in the lime trees have been attached to the trunks. And now comes the strange thing...  green shoots has grown on the dead lime tree trunks. I do not understand how that is possible, but that is the way it is. Really fun, I think.
