Extended Families - backblip

Mean: more celebrations and even more cake .......  and gin!!!

Another wonderful evening spent with a few more of Mr HB's family.  A delicious meal in a lovely hostelry not far from home.  We were told to be ready for exactly 6.40pm when our carriage would arrive (it was actually a very nice car driven by an adult grandchild) who drove us to our surprise destination. Mr HB was overwhelmed by the kindness of everyone and has really enjoyed his Birthday celebrations which have lasted over a week and an awful lot of cake!! 

We're off in 'Matilda' on Monday  to Whitby for a week, poor girl, I hope she'll cope with the extra weight after all that cake!!
