Admiral

Some afternoon sunshine bright out a few butterflies in the graveyard and environs: Red Admiral, Painted Lady, Speckled Wood and Small White.  This Red Admiral was basking on a gravestone. 

Earlier I had a little walk out while the kids were volunteering on the water station at the Bradford 10k. The Alder Leaf Beetles that a featured a couple of days away seem to be on every Alder tree now.
