Elderflower and Lemon Cake

A mix of cloud and sun, lovely sunset this evening.

A good day, starting to feel better, spoke to my friend, had breakfast and then made the cake.  Interesting to do as I don't usual make so many layers and it was the first time I had tried elderflower.  K and I both liked it as a drink and the cake was a success with the Sunday group.  Also did the clothes washing and it dried on the line, just the ironing to do, probably tomorrow. 
Afternoon spent in the company of my friends, lots of talking!
