Behold the sea!

We went to an amazing concert this evening!
The finale of the summer festival of music celebrates 150 years of Vaughan Williams.
They performed A Sea Symphony for us, a mass choral work, with two top notch soloists Roderick Williams and Sarah Fox.
It really was a remarkable performance, made even more poignant by the singing of God Save The King at the beginning, and the national one minute silence at eight o’clock.
And we nearly missed it! Tickets were on the door as it had been postponed, and so it was not in our mental schedules. Fortunately Rob remembered at about twenty to seven!
It certainly was one not to miss.
