Nice Day for a Drive

Jamie had a nightmare train trip from Poole to Birmingham on Friday, arriving in a taxi, three and a half hours late after accessible spaces were double booked, a tree on the line and no trains from central Birmingham to Bournville.  He wasn't up for more trains to get home today so I had a hastily arranged round trip to Birmingham between breakfast and tea!   There might have been other blip options but this rose in Ruth's front garden was the only thing I photographed today.   It was a lovely day for a drive .... and for a lot of other things too no doubt!   Four days at home and we're back to Birmingham on Friday, this time for planned activities!
