Javier Marias

Javier Marias was a Spanish author, translator, and columnist who died a few days ago.
I must admit that I find his books a bit difficult because his sentences are sometimes so long that they take up a full page and his style is complicated, but I have decided to give it a try as my own tribute since I really liked the newspaper columns he wrote. As a journalist his style was more lively and always very intelligent.

At our local library I found some of his books and borrowed these two. I think I'll be able to read them before the deadline.
He was an excellent translator of English literature too..
