A misty moisty morning when cloudy was the weather
Was up early this morning and took this blip of the hills across the valley from where I live. The clouds always form levels beneath me, and make a nice contrast. Not so much autumn in this blip: I guess the foliage must be evergreen here.
And the title? I came to this through Steeleye Span, who sang:
One misty, moisty, morning,
When cloudy was the weather,
There I met an old man
All clothed in leather
All clothed in leather,
With a cap under his chin.
How do you do?
And how do you do?
And how do you do again?
It's a traditional song of unknown origin.
