Surprise in the brambles

Picked lots more blackberries today. 'Tis the season for it! While doing so, I spotted this moth. Actually, what I spotted was the underside of it, in extras. It was hanging under a berry and I didn't realise what it was at first. 

It has been identified as a Herald moth. An attractive one, which I've never seen before.  

The brambles went into a blackberry Bakewell pudding and it was a great success, excellent even! I saw the recipe in a Landscape magazine and luckily had all the ingredients to hand.
