Beauty’s only skin deep
Having a better day today fibromyalgia wise. I watched about half an hour of the Queen’s funeral but only to see what outfits the female mourners were wearing.
I’m not a Monarchist but did feel for William and Harry having to follow behind the coffin, it must have brought back very painful memories of their late mother’s funeral - she was taken far too soon.
When I was younger, I thought Princess Diana was an incredibly glamorous woman with a big heart. The way she was treated by the now King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla was appalling. Diana was far too young at nineteen to have married into the Royal family and the age gap between her and Charles clearly had its impact.
Today’s photo is me making a start on arranging my beauty product collection. Ninety five percent of the items in the box were free as one of my hobbies is entering competitions and I have won this boxful. There are more which I haven’t started on yet but am hoping to find a better storage solution for them in the near future.
The makeup brushes were only £2 in Poundland - just as effective and as good quality as more expensive makeup tool brands such as Real Techniques. I do love a bargain!
I’m hoping to go for a short walk today if the sun keeps shining and my pain levels allow. Even on low pain days, the pain is a constant.
I hope you’re all having a lovely Monday!
