I was outside at 9.30 to finish the painting of the store door. It was very quiet. All I heard was a cow mooing. That only took half an hour so, while the paint dried, I did some jobs inside and switched the television on for the funeral service at Westminster Abbey of Queen Elizabeth II.

I wandered down the hill mid afternoon. There weren’t many people around and most shops and cafes were closed. Pubs and hotels were open. The closed notice on the door of one shop caught my eye so I decided to make it my blip.

More research about my proposed tarn bagging challenge. I’ve found a website that says there are 197 tarns. I know that some are in places it would be stupid for me to go on my own so I’ll need to set myself a realistic target.
