North Esk Reservoir

We escaped over to the Western-edge of the Pentland Hills today - was a really good decision; weather was absolutely fine and we had a great days' walking in virtual solitude ...

...  we completed the "The Mount & Patie's Hill circuit", and North Esk Reservoir  was looking *stunning* from the tops (main snap - best viewed large!).

The extra shows 'M' and 'R' crossing a small footbridge, over the River North Esk, near the start of the walk :-)
