Rubber necking in the park

Glorious sunshine. We went to the swings. As well as the joy of actual swinging through the air, the best bit for Rose is looking at what the other older kids are up to. In her mind she must be thinking 'One day I'll be on that slide'. The slightly sad bit is when she gibber gabbers at them and tries to be their friend and they ignore her. They can't all love you like your cousins do Rose, I think to myself.

We had a little picnic after this. Well Rose ate a whole croissant virtually..then we went to Nana and Grand dad's and sat in the back garden. Final day of maternity leave is tomorrow.
