Long-billed Curlew

I thought I'd seen some of these on our first visit to Moss Landing two days earlier but today I was sure: bigger than a Whimbrel, and with that same rich cinnamon colouring as the plentiful Marbled Godwits. My fourth new species of the trip, along with Nuttall's Woodpecker, Oak Titmouse and Black Oystercatcher.
