Twisted tripod

One of my favourite features at RHS Bridgewater are the twisted plant supports in the hot border near the walled garden. They’re made out of rhododendron cut when they were clearing the site, and are far too big for my little garden. When I pruned my parent’s contorted hazel last winter I brought some of the stems home. They’ve been sat in a heap on the patio ever since (I’ve been busy with other things!). Spent a couple of hours clearing the garden this afternoon and this is the first attempt at my version. I’m planning to grow a clematis on it - so will need a trip to the garden centre soon.
