Chirk Tunnel

Stayed in our holiday cottage to watch the Queen's state funeral this morning.  Ate lunch there too, then drove to Chirk later in the afternoon to see the Chirk Tunnel, and the aqueduct and viaduct there.  Fun (and very dark) walking through the long canal tunnel!  We walked a fair way along the canal, too - in fact, all the way back into England ;)  (One end of the aqueduct welcomes you to Wales and the other to England.)

Stopped off briefly in Llangollen on the way back, for a little wander along the river again, then a nice easy evening back at the cottage.
