Chrysanthemums

A quieter day, but I did spend a lot of time enjoying all the photographs and reports in the paper of yesterdays ceremony..

A quick whip round with the duster before my Mahjong friends arrived. There were just four of us this afternoon and the other three had a good afternoon’s play. Mine was disastrous! I try to convince myself it is all a matter of luck, but maybe I am losing my touch!

After they had gone I toured the garden. Everything has revived remarkably since it started raining again. These chrysanthemums were a present for our Diamond Wedding nearly three weeks ago, they came in an attractive container.
