Saturn
The observant will notice that this isn't a picture of Saturn. The local astronomy club was running a display this evening in town and Saturn was nice and visible - you could see its ears. There was way too much light pollution in town to be fair and there was some cloud, but with some of their nice telescopes you could still get a nice view of the moon and other objects, including Saturn.
Today's back blip is one of the sources of light pollution, which is the new big wheel which is lit up at night next to the port.
It nice and dry on our walk to the demonstration, and not too cold to be outdoors in the late evening.
