Sgurr Mhic Bharraich
Happy May Day
Last night after work I drove up to Spean Bridge and stayed with a friend who kindly offered his spare bed. Today I continued north in the direction of Skye, and stopped at Shiel Bridge to rush up Sgurr Mhic Bharraich (Peak of the Son of Maurice). It snowed on the summit.
Afterwards, I crossed to Skye and headed for Dunvegan passing the snowy Cuillin (above) on the way. I set up the tent at the excellent campsite, before cycling up to the Chimneys for a slap up family meal.
