Wound up in Wexford

Tarmacadam

We have been astounded at the vast areas of tarmacadam around many of the Irish houses for sale.  It's easy to maintain, and as such is regarded as a good selling point.

Our rental apartment is no exception - though to be fair, it was originally an office block, and only converted into residential accommodation a couple of years ago, so it's actually not out of keeping.

We took a trip into Loughrea today, where I was able to open a bank account, and we found many of the items to deal with our minor niggles in the kitchen - a cheese grater and a bowl to use for salads just an example.

W was also able to make an appointment at the opticians.

When we got home, I felt a bit headachy and under the weather.  It seems to have passed, but I am exceptionally tired - an early night beckons.
