Down in the Woods

Went for a run this morning - timed intervals on some slightly hilly roads near where we were staying, not a scenic route this time - then drove further east to Baden, on the edge of the Golfe du Morbihan.

Went for a very pleasant early evening walk down around the marshes, towards the coast, & were surprised to find an overgrown narrow gauge track with some rusting small engines just below our camping area. According to a woman we met, the camping-car parking & the woods & small lake used to be part of a leisure area for the local community. It wasn't too clear why it had fallen into disuse, though the paths through the woods were clear enough.

I'd have liked to have taken some low-sun shots across the marsh but the angle was completely wrong at the point I was able to access the open water section, so a rusting engine will have to do for tonight.
