Alternating Reflection
The waves of pink and blue drew me to the shore to catch the last light as the sun set behind the trees. All was quiet and still, breathe. The water seemed to shimmer as the ripples pulsed, pausing then renewing, as if the lake were breathing also. I stood and watched before the biting insects began to drive me inside.
Posted in arrears on September 20th as I catch up.
