A day to ourselves!

Brighson went to daycare so Bronwyn and i could have a day together on our own.  As much as we all love having Brighson with us....we needed a bit of one on one time!   So after breakfast we drove down to Victoria, hit the bookstore, then an art supply store....then lunch at a lovely pub.   A bit of a walk along a very beautiful trail right on the water....and once again we were blessed with an amazing day!

Picked up Brighson and headed home to find a bit of a major catastrophy!   Apparently i was supposed to vacate my airbnb this morning, but with all the back and forth i got confused and wasn't made aware of this mistake until late in the day!   Unfortunately the next folks who were booked into my airbnb had to find alternate accommodation...oh boy was i feeling so bad!!!   Luckily it was only a one night booking which i have paid for - so the lovely folks who own the apartment weren't out any $$.   But i can only imagine the stress they had to go thro!!!  They were very forgiving and understanding!!!   Of course i could quite relate to the issue it caused and have to say that so far that kind of situation hasn't happened at Big Hill!!!

An early night for me!  I'm exhausted.   Bronwyn and I have tomorrow together than i have to get the ferry over to Vancouver!
