Rock Against Racism

Syd Shelton visited the photo society this evening to give us a walk through his various photographic projects over the years. The highlight was his book following the music campaign from the '70's "Rock Against Racism".

Wonderful images on stage with the major punk and reggae acts of the time including my favourite, The Clash. The book is going to be republished in October with an accompanying exhibition in London.

Syd also showed us his photo series taken in Belfast during the time of The Troubles.

A terrific evening.
