Cost Benefit Analysis

Helping Filmblipper make a decision today. He needed to buy some new 35mm film stock to try out his 'new' camera and wanted to choose the most cost effective option:

A roll of B&W Kodak 100TMax (£4.49/roll) plus developing/scanning himself (~£1.50 chemical costs)

or

A roll of 'cheap as chips' Agfa Vista Plus colour film (£1.00 a roll from Poundland) plus developing/scanning to CD (£5/roll at Sainsburys photo processing)

I wonder which one he will choose?
