Fresh herbs

No time of year is better than the tail end of summer for enjoying fresh herbs in every homemade meal!

Today I'm harvesting thyme, coriander, flat and curly parsley, oregano and dill. The herb bed is looking healthier now than it ever has since sowing and planting.

It'll be nice to continue working on it next spring as I want more variety and I plan to experiment with growing a few flowers in there. Echinacea is a possible candidate as it seems to enjoy similar growing conditions as rosemary and sage.
