Black Darter Dragonfly

I’m not sure I have ever seen one of these or at the very least have not paid enough attention in the past.

Today I counted 7 in three different places along a walk at Woodhead Reservoir.  I added a second attempt on a very blue looking example of the dragonfly, from what I have just read these means it is newly emerged
