A break from fishing

This morning I went belly dancing then afterwards went for a walk along the canal as I was in Ellesmere. There were lots of boats and tourists about making the most of the time when children are in school.

This fisherman and his dog were having a rest by the canal, it's a popular place for fishing. It looks as if he's got a toy dog on his hat, it's a shame that he's not facing the other way sothat I could see it.

I'm off to Shrewsbury later on to meet O off the London train.  He's just back from Marrakesh where he's been working for a week.  Unfortunately he's missed the connection so will be later than he thought.
