The things that Fathers do!!

During my last visit, my daughter produced a Sweet Potato that had started to produce shoots and asked me to try and root a few cuttings. Well, what can you say?. Dutifully, some days later I took said cuttings and put them into a contained of water, leaving it in a cool dark place. Imagine my surprise when a week later these roots had appeared. This might just be how the Triffids began?
