Meet Bernard, my niece and nephew's puddytat - not the best photo as he lays somewhat uncomfortably in my brother's arms... but the only one I took today, so Hobson's choice :). 

My day was spent doing those things I do before travel, including going Asda for all those British goods I want to take back.

A lovely evening with bro, niece and nephews at the local Toby carvery where, contrary to expectations, there is a really good choice for a laden vegetarian plate which Maddy and I both indulged in.
